Human Leukocyte Antigen B27 PCR Detection Kit
Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a rheumatic disease characterized by the involvement of the central axis, peripheral joints, chronic inflammation, and the formation of new bones.
It is more common in adolescents. Severe joint dysfunction can occur within ten years of onset. When the spine, sacroiliac joints, and hip joints develop lesions, the lesions are irreversible. Among them, human leukocyte antigen-B27 (HLA-B27) is considered to have a strong correlation with AS. The positive rate of HLA-B27 in AS patients are as high as 90%.
Tianlong Human Leukocyte Antigen B27 Kit is used for in vitro quantitative detection of human leukocyte antigen B27 gene in human whole blood samples. It can detect the B2702, B2704, and B2705 subtypes related to AS, but it cannot distinguish between different genotypes. The test results of this kit are for the auxiliary diagnosis of AS.
